A walk with TTArtisan 35mm f1.8 ED
I recently took the TTArtisan 35mm f1.8 ED out for a test on a walk through Gamla Stan in Stockholm. It's a small, lightweight lens, and that combination of compactness and a classic normal focal length made it an easy fit for how I like to shoot.
I've always gravitated toward normal lenses - there's something about the 35mm perspective that feels natural and unobtrusive, letting me move through a scene like Gamla Stan without the lens getting in the way of seeing. Walking through the narrow, winding streets, it was easy to work quickly and stay light on my feet, which is exactly what a lens like this is made for.
