First impressions: Gold RFL-Mist filter from Reflectlens
Recently I bought the Gold RFL-Mist filter from Reflectlens to test whether it would suit my photography. I’ve used standard mist filters before and always liked the effect they give, so I was curious to see how this one would compare.
I mounted the filter on my Fujifilm GF 110mm lens and GFX100S, then went for a walk around sunset in Söder, Stockholm — conditions that should suit the filter perfectly, since it’s designed to add a warm, golden diffusion to the light. You can see the results below.
Personally, I like the effect, even if it can feel a touch too strong for my taste at times. I’m planning to test the filter with other lenses too, and try it out for portraits as well.
